Over the years Ciudad Quesada has developed into an award winning urbanization, finally getting it's own Town Hall, making it a town in its own right. The urbanization is located on south facing slopes with commanding views over the salt lakes of Torrevieja, one an actual working salt lake considered to be the most important in Europe, the other being a nature reserve. Beyond them the Mediterranean Sea glistens on the horizon. Further views take in the mountains and inland plains covered with orange and lemon groves filling the air with delicate aroma in flowering seasons.

Amongst the many facilities are an Aqua Park, Golf Course and Social Club with restaurant, live entertainment, bowls and swimming facilities (Charges are applicable). There are numerous Bars, Restaurants, Shops including newsagents, supermarkets a tobacconist, hairdressers, banks' with exchange facilities and medical centre. To conclude Ciudad Quesada is a secluded paradise, yet close enough to three towns, Torrevieja, Guadamar del Segura and Rojales, to cater for all types of holiday.
